Starting pitching was outstanding this weekend! Four earned runs in 20 innings.

Kermit has more road sweeps in two weeks than Billy Jones had in four years.
He also already has more road wins this season than Jim Fox...

Re: vs. Gardner-Webb
Looking forward to seeing how we compete against USC Tuesday. I know this is more of a fans perspective of thinking but I would love to run out our Friday guy/ace of staff either Tuesday or Sunday against ECU and then our number 2 for the other. Know it can't really be done Tuesday on such a quick turn around. Would love to see us compete with our best against 2 squads potentially headed for Omaha to see how far we have to go. Exciting week on the diamond coming up.

Re: vs. Gardner-Webb
If you go to the baseball schedule on appstatesports.com it lists beside each game the options to watch/listen. Looks like 4 games will be carried on ESPN3, all SBC games. The USC game tomorrow is being televised on SEC Network Plus, though. Looks like around 15 games, including UNCA, Wake Forest and Radford, will be televised through the ASN carrier as wellMtnMan09 wrote:Probably a dumb question, but do our baseball games get carried on ESPN3 as well?

Thanks. I cant believe the ECU game is not goin to be carried anywhere. Hoping we will be able to at least listen to it through the website.Yosef10 wrote:If you go to the baseball schedule on appstatesports.com it lists beside each game the options to watch/listen. Re: vs. Gardner-Webb
Feels good to be over .500! Certainly going to get tested this week as we face 3 teams in the top 25 (SC, St. Johns, ECU) and a team from Cullowhee that knocked off Coastal in the opening weekend. Heading into it with tons of momentum though so, it will be fun to see where we stand on a national level.

Yeah luckily I'm not far from Greenville so I think I'm going to drive down there and catch the Sunday game at least. I did just check ECUs baseball schedule site and they have options listed for online watching & listening. I can't tell if you have to pay to watch but there's no log in that I see so it may be free. Check out ecupirates.com and go to the baseball schedule and you'll see what I'm talking about.MtnMan09 wrote:Thanks. I cant believe the ECU game is not goin to be carried anywhere.
