We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I would have thought we would have learned how to handle the press by now

We lead the league in close games because we can't find a way to close them out. This team has some ability but lack something that gets them over the hump.

I would have practiced 100% breaking the press plays two days a week for the past three weeks this is ridiculous.

This team never quits which means something, but we must learn to close out games.
Not excited about DC this Saturday though.

Muted those homers and listened to DJ and RJ after the first "Appy" reference.appmaj wrote:GaSo announcer just said "Healy stepped on the invisible line and the referee missed it"
Good win. Hope we work on free throws!!!

I do love that this team never quits. Another solid game for Healy. 24 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks. 48 points in his last two games after being held to 5 at Charleston.

Got to give the guys credit...blew a working lead after falling behind by double digits then going to OT falling behind there and coming back to win going away.

Great win on the road but we have hot to get a true point guard that can bring the ball up the court without turnovers

I'm afraid he is because he's all we got. He's careless with the ball and missed 4 straight at the line, but without him we lose by 15-20 tonight.

Re: Appalachian @ Georgia Southern - Game Thread
I'll say it again. I give our bball team a smaller chance to beat DC than I did our football vs GSU this year.
Re: Appalachian @ Georgia Southern - Game Thread
...and that was probably less that 10% of the entire ASU fanbase who thought we would beat GSU in the Stink in football.Saint3333 wrote:I'll say it again. I give our bball team a smaller chance to beat DC than I did our football vs GSU this year.
Most people will think I am crazy, but looking at the last 8 games prior to tonight I can see a scenario around which we could win 6 or 7 of those games. The Davidson game is the only one where like you I think we are in trouble from the start. But we are getting better play from our "bigs", and while our guard play while under the press is less than desirable, Coach has got to see that as an area that has to be coached!
While we are by far not a good basketball team, we seem to be in most games at the end....and anything can happen from there!
