Is it just me are does it seem like we're in an alternate universe or something since the FBS announcement. I mean, we're giving high-5s to GSU and we're sticking up for one another on message boards and stuff. ASU and GSU are like dogs and cats, oil and water, brother and sister(GSU). What's going on?
Hopefully by October this maddness will stop!

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?
I still have just as much hate for GSU as I always have. I am just glad that we continue to express that hate annually in a conference game.

There is a mutual respect between App and the Stink.
We've joined together before to fight the unfounded arrogance of UNCC/GaSt trolls and we are joined together now in celebration of long overdue moves for both programs.
I'm sure the hate will pick up just fine on Black Saturday.

I much as I hate GS, and its turning my stomach to say this, but when we joined the SBC, it became all about business, we need GS, along with the other members, to kick all the other mid majors asses, especially USA, so hopefully we get better national coverage, which leads to better tv deals, which will stabalize the conference. Dam, never thought I would say this but go Eag... go Eagl...dam, thought I could say it, but guess Im just not ready yet, maybe in a couple of years.

Re: The Twilight Zone
Just so everyone is clear ......at no point in history has Appalachian State needed GA South.... not now and not ever. Its nice to have another FCS to transition with.... but again, we don't need them or their trailers.

Re: The Twilight Zone
I agree with this, though painful, FBS is a different ballgame. In FCS it is pretty much everyone is out for themselves due to the play-off structure. FBS on the other hand is driven by strength of schedule. As much as we hate it we need to pull for the conference in all OCC games, even if it means pulling for the Gnats.moehler wrote:I much as I hate GS, and its turning my stomach to say this, but when we joined the SBC, it became all about business, we need GS, along with the other members, to kick all the other mid majors asses, especially USA, so hopefully we get better national coverage, which leads to better tv deals, which will stabalize the conference. We need to pull for our new conference mates in all OOC contests. Viva la Sun Belt!

Hey, step one is admitting you have a problem, so at least you have somewhere to start.moehler wrote:Dam, never thought I would say this but go Eag... go Eagl...dam, thought I could say it, but guess Im just not ready yet, maybe in a couple of years.

I couldn't think of a better school to ride along with on the bus trip to the FBS.
