NFL Draft Picks for NC D1 Schools
I did a little research and found that App State had more draft picks since 2008 than all of these other NC D1 schools combined (App had 9). Just thought this was interesting and impressive but also disappointing that we couldn't advance further in the playoffs the past few years with this kind of talent.

Well Davidson being non scholly and uncc not having a team would make them irrelevant. I am sure the only two on the list our fan base would compare us too is ecu and dook. Impressive number of draftees none the less.

Campbell is non-scholly as well. Still impressive!ASUTed wrote:Well Davidson being non scholly and uncc not having a team would make them irrelevant. I am sure the only two on the list our fan base would compare us too is ecu and dook. Impressive number of draftees none the less.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Did UNC-CH, NCSU and Wake have any? I am guessing they did but am not into looking it up. Other than ECU, that list is not much to measure by.

Re: NFL Draft Picks for NC D1 Schools
Sorry was really really bored! I looked up the numbers for UNC-CH, NCSU and Wake.
UNC-CH had 25 since 2008 including 9 taken in the 2011 NFL Draft, NCSU had 15, and Wake had 14. But still they were BCS teams so most people would think they should have many draft picks! We were only FCS with our draft picks, so that is something to be proud of!

Why do we even want to be compared to Campbell? Like CVAPP said, other than ECU and Duke, I don't even want to be included in the same continent as the rest of that list.

1. Heard on a recent Sirius sports talk show that the University of Texas has had only 4 draft picks in the last 5 drafts. Amazing!
2. The Committee still sucks ballz and I will never forgive them for squandering our talent.
