Endzone question
Been watching the Endzone cam on resort.com. Saw they put blacktop down. Are they putting turf on top or leaving as is?

Re: Endzone question
There are several rolls of turf under the West Grandstand. My assumption is it will be placed over the blacktop.

Re: Endzone question
Yes, the new blacktop will be covered with turf. From what I’ve been told by Yosef Club employees, the area will become a suite/club type area with tables & chairs. Similar to box seats at a baseball game. A spot to gather, or event space....think a beer garden type area.

Re: Endzone question
For the big ticket draws such as when Carolina comes to town.....I hope they plan to put back in the temporary aluminum stands and fill in the whole area to back of endzone leaving ample room for player play follow through at very back of endzone for safety unlike some football stadiums that crowd the back of endzone too much.
KICK ASS!!!

I hope they reward season ticket holders and allow us to purchase additional tickets before general admission.

Re: Endzone question
I suggest APP fans go ahead and buy season tickets now so all they have to do for Unc season is RENEW. Let’s avoid the Holmes opening where Unc fans bought out for the one game.

Re: Endzone question
I'm guessing they'll probably leave that as is since it won't be very visible with people walking all over it. It would be a cool area for a mountainous mural type thing. Add a little unique flair to the field.
Question for any masonry workers since the original thread question is answered: Is it possible to retrofit anything to those flat bland grey sides towers down the road when/if more money comes in? I love the endzone and the amount of work/money that went into it, but that was a poor design choice.

Re: Endzone question
Are the new NEZ locker rooms done yet, or will they be by season start? Just wondering if we can look forward to the new team entrance this year?

Ha!
I’m not worried about that unless they decide to bring their basketball team to KBS.

Re: Endzone question
The team hasn’t moved everything in as of last Friday. Several guys were lifting in weight room and walked into the locker room, to answer your question - Yes.booneboy92 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 11:06 amAre the new NEZ locker rooms done yet, or will they be by season start?
