This morning they were discussing Miami football with the Miami beat writer for The Atlantic and Pack was singing praises about the Mountaineers - He noted several times something like, "look, these guys are good", they are coming to play and will be excited to play, "I'm telling you again, this is a quality team" and regardless of what happens in the Alabama game, if the U is not ready for this game they will get beaten, etc., Really positive take on APP -

We have some heavy payback due for The U based on our 2016 performance. Since probably none of the players on the 2020 team were here then, hopefully Coach Clark and co will replay that game for this team so they get a little extra fire in their gut. Just a little insurance policy. The takeaway for our guys is that is just one of the few black eyes we have since joining FBS. This is a good chance for these guys to address that blemish.

Miami is going to be GOOD compared to our usual competition, probably second behind Clemson in the ACC this season, we better be READY to play, unlike times last season, no matter what happens in the ECU game Pack Man.

This current Miami program is knocking on the door of top 4 in the nation. They may prove to be the best team in the ACC this year!

I get that Miami may be the best team we probably play in 2021. Top 5..I do not see that. UNC put 62 on them in Miami near the end of last season. QB1 is coming off ACL. 3 preseason polls I reviewed have them 18 to 20 in the country.

I agree because I just don't see them beating Alabama - then they have us and then Michigan State - they would certainly need to run the table to be in the 5

They have something crazy like 20 starters back. Alabama is a loss for anybody and everybody. Their QB is AE-like, hopefully he's healthy by the 3rd week of the season to start.
