Chad Mucho Loco

Unread post by MAD Doctor » Mon Jun 10, 2013 2:55 pm

Once a jackass, always a jackass. Chad Johnson had apparently avoided a jail term for domestic violence by entering a plea bargain, but when he came into the courtroom, he smacked his attorney on the behind and tried to make a joke of it all. The judge got P O'ed and threw out the plea agreement. 30 days with Bubba for being an idiot.

Standing before a female judge presiding over a case of domestic violence against a female... yeah, sounds like prime time for a little joking around. What an idiot.

Shocking that an athlete would celebrate by patting his attorney on the rump. We don't know the relationship that he has with his attorney.

Obviously, none of us have seen how Johnson acted throughout the trial, but I find nothing wrong with what he did yesterday, based simply on that video. From the video, it could be seen as if the judge got a sore ego because she got upstaged. If this had been a pattern throughout the trial, then that is one thing. If this was an isolated event, then I actually find it scary that a judge would let ego get in the way of justice and take away the rights of a person because the judge was upstaged.

Without knowing what happened throughout the trial, it's hard to have a true opinion of what happened. With that said, it's best to keep in mind that just because someone is a clown most of the time doesn't mean he's a clown all of the time.

The judge needs to get laid. She asked him to thank his attorney and apparently he did not do in the way she wanted him too.

I agree, the judge needs to remove the stick from her ass and get a life.

I'm not fan of Chad but after seeing more of the event on TV, it' looks like the Judge might have a few issues about being taken seriously so went to the extreme. She was saying how grateful Chad should be to his attorney and he assured her he was and did the butt slap thing. When questioned about it he was respectful the whole time and said he was sorry, I think she is the one that made it a big issue. I think a fine or public service would have been more than enough.

the judge overreacted, but, Chad was an idiot, he is in a court of law, at the mercy of the court, he needs to stand up straight, take this very, very seriously, and show as much respect for the court as he can, even if he really doesn't mean it. Hopefully, the judge, after she cools down, and saw on tv how she overreacted, will cut his 30 day sentence.

It wasn't a trial. This was a simple probation violation. He missed his last 3 appointments with his probation officer.

He definitely should not have been playful about the situation, but 30 days in jail for that is an embarrassment. No wonder the United States has the highest incarceration percentage in the world (754 per 100,000) Russia is our only competition at 577 with the rest of the 1st world countries having about 100.

If judges would have to spend 7 days in jail undercover before getting their seat, our incarceration rate would be cut in half.

Yeah, I misspoke and meant to say "proceeding." As I said, he's a clown, but I do believe the judge made a bigger mockery of the courtroom than CJ.
