We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Didn’t I see a graphic that the refs were actually from the SBC?
Although I think the ACC and Belt have some shared officials.
Edit: confirmed that the lead referee, Kyle Olson, is a Sun Belt ref.
In non-conference games, the visiting team is responsible for the officials. I am pretty sure we had AAC refs against ECU
According to the broadcast they were SBC refs
Every article I read says AAC for ECU: (I'm not sure if you are referring to the ECU game or Miami

I was referring to the ECU game. At 16:03 in the game it shows the ref being from the SBC.

The defense did a great job!!
I also concur that Dale Jones and his staff did a great job of game planning for this game. Yea there were a few things here and there but there was never a point that I could legitimately second guess how they planned Miami. This was IMO the best game Dale has called.

My gut tells me Dale is here to retire and Clark isn’t going anywhere yet. The rest of the staff is tough to keep considering our budget.

I believe this is the best defense we have ever had. By the end of the season, Miami and AppState will be in the top 10 defenses in the country.
Spurlin amazes me how well he hangs with his size 5'11" 235. Meech and Roof looked like they were being held all night. Roof blitzing looked like a hold 10 times (never called). It will be tough for teams to score on APPSTATE!!!!!!!!!
agreed. this is DEF the best defense we have ever had. I firmly believe if we had a good QB then we'd easily run our schedule and at least give Cinci a run for their money for that top G5 spot. We have everything but a QB.

We have one that plays the position, but he's not good.

You just not be watching the same games I have. He had a better QBR than deriq king on our game. And Miami was bringing heat like nobody else on our schedule can.

There's no way you watched that and thought he was better than King or even that he was a good quarterback. He missed countless throws and if he didn't throw a pick and hit a few wide open and easy passes, we win by two touchdowns easily. He was missing throws all night and the WR's were coming back and making outstanding plays on the ball until the last drive.

Lets let the rest of the season, or at least the next 6 weeks or so and play out before we call Brice a bust. Miami has the best defense we will see the rest of the season. Yes, Brice missed some throws and all, but considering the pressure UM was bringing, especially in the 1st half, made him rush some throws and get a little nervous. With the continued improvement of our Oline and easier Defenses to handle, I'm willing to be Brice will look pretty good by mid-late season. I'm certainly not ready to write him off because a less than stellar game against Miami

Did you see how many bad passes King had? More than Brice. Brice also had a better QB rating.

Last year Ryan Fitzpatrick and Drew Brees had higher QBR ratings than Brady, Wilson, Watson, Herbert, Murray and Stafford, but I'm sure you wouldn't take those two over any of those QB's behind him.

I haven't watched it on TV yet but from being at the game I saw a quarterback under pressure hitting his 2nd or 3rd progression target. Their DB's were athletic as hell, in good position and a lot of the 'missed' throws were throwing open. The interception was batted at the line for a jump ball. I think this guy is a winner. Time will tell and I'm more interested in finding the replay now but seemed pretty good to me. BTW, has anyone else found the ESPN replay? I got almost every other game from Saturday but can only find highlights for our game. Not on Youtube either from what I've found.

That interception doesn't happen at the line if he doesn't badly throw behind Sutton. Next play it gets tipped at the line and you know the rest. I could go on and I know he was under pressure, but there were other throws we HAD to have to be able to win that and he didn't make enough of them. Is what it is, but i'll see if i can find a replay for ya.
The replay is on the ESPN app now and is showing it's being played by ACCN

I hate crap like this. It’s been 2 games and we have a resident expert telling us Brice is a bust. Brice was a STUD in the EZU game. He had a few bad throws in the Miami game, but he also had some gems. The deep ball the Malik comes to mind. Not to mention after two games, it appears Brice has a very good head on his shoulders.
I’m starting to believe this might be the guy who sits a few rows behind us in 206. Barks all game long at the QB no matter what. Barked at Taylor, barked at Zac, and I’m sure he will be barking at Chase.
Chase is gonna prove this guy wrong, and I personally can’t wait!
GO APPS!!
