"Today I Give my all" sign

Unread post by asutrnr81 » Mon Jun 24, 2013 1:03 pm

I need to know some of the history behind the (Today I give my all for Appalachian State) sign shaped like the state of NC.

Can anyone give me some history?

When it came about?
Who was coaching?
What led to it's creation?
Just about anything you'd think was important!

Thanks in advance. And by the way...I am serious this is not a joke!

Jerry Moore started it although I don't know exactly what year. My guess it was in the early 90's.

I understood Dale Jones brought the idea with him from Tennessee where they do the same thing. Of course, the fellow who told me is a big UT fan, so I've always taken that with a grain of salt.

Jerry Moore would not have kept something Sparky used.

Someone who would know told me it was first used in 1990. Not sure of its origin.
