I’m split on this. Gameday tends to shit on App a lot, going back to the infamous cupcake comment from Herbstreit. Anytime we play a P5 school they treat it like we don’t belong on the same field and that the P5 is doing us a favor. Not to mention, it’s all going to be about beating Michigan and now TAMU. Both of those wins are huge, but the games themselves aren’t what defines App State football.

On the other hand, Gameday is still an extremely important marketing tool for athletic departments and municipalities. And it likely means our game against Troy will be on one of the “big” networks (ESPN or 2, maybe?).

Getting Gameday is a big deal. Hopefully the town doesn’t explode and people behave themselves, at least somewhat.

I saw that-I’m really glad that Doug and Clark have worked to bring Coach Moore back into the program. Really, really glad.

So lets see them shit on us face-to-face. And then escort them up to KBS and show them what one of the rowdiest stadiums in the G5 looks like. Maybe they'll come away with a little more appreciation for what we have to offer. You have to experience Boone in person to appreciate it and realize what kind of culture we have up on the mountain.
