Montana game on ESPN3

Montana's schedule page does not show this as an ESPN3 game yet. Maybe that will change and this is going to happen.

A good friend on mine works at ESPN, specifically on the ESPN3 side of things. I asked him to look into our game and he said App/Montana is in his scheduling system so we're almost certainly going to be on ESPN3.

As for Gameplan, it's a little more complicated. If a game is on ESPN Gameplan, it's always going to be on ESPN3. If a game is on ESPN3, that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be on Gameplan. As for our game specifically he said, "I essentially think Gameplan gets the games that are on TV regionally but not nationally, and then makes those games avail on a national basis. If ESPN3 is the sole broadcaster of a game then I don't think it's on Gameplan. So given that App/Montana could wind up on Gameplan since it's being televised by something called Max Media/Montana. But who knows really."

In summary,
ESPN3- Yes
Gameplan- Maybe

The game WILL be televised on ESPN GamePlan. I've waited 3 years for my buddy over at ESPN to have some sort of inside information worth posting, glad it finally happened!
