What question would you like asked of Coach Clark at the next press conference.

I said he can but did not say he will. I wonder if he could ask it in less than 50 words though? That is the biggest question. That's a definite no. It's more likely we go undefeated the rest of the season than it is for Ware to ask any question without prefacing it with his entire life story.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 1:44 pmI said he can but did not say he will. What I find interesting is that he clearly knows people have noticed but he does not adjust. He will sometimes make them shorter but still has trouble with it. It annoys some in the media but they bite their tongues. I love what 247 does but that is an area that David could improve on for sure.AppStateNews wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 1:48 pmThat's a definite no. Perhaps he threw up on himself at half time.Perfectly understandable.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 12:19 pmIn David Ware form...Coach, I have noticed that you may change your wardrobe at halftime from time to time...black to white, white to black, yellow to white , white to yellow, black to a different black top...can you shed some light on what goes into your wardrobe change at halftime?

Another question - where did the offense go that we put up against UNC. The creativity etc....

Fans do not have a right to know who is and who is not playing. Think of it this way. Some of these decisions involve personal decisions. Would you want someone on a message board to know that your son isn’t playing because of a personal reason, I.e. grades, suspension, illness? I doubt it. Some things are in house and like it or not, fans aren’t in house.MrCraig wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 12:35 pmWhat’s the situation with the running backs? I understand you want to keep things under wraps so the other team can’t game plan, but fans should at least have some idea of who is or is not playing and why.
Follow up, why, when a RB is tearing of 4-6 yard runs every play do you still insist on sticking with your rotation?

Anymore, asking questions is pretty close to pointless. Coaches, or anyone else who a question pertains to, will dance around the issue and make you forget what your question even was.

Right, I totally understand. But you can tell the fans/media SOMETHING without going into super personal details. Why didn’t Peoples even travel with the team this week? Personal issue? Injury? Discipline?AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:42 pmFans do not have a right to know who is and who is not playing. Think of it this way. Some of these decisions involve personal decisions. IMO (which isn’t worth too much) if a player misses a game because of a discipline or academic issue, it should be blasted in front of everyone. The public shame is part of the punishment. But that’s just me.
And as for injuries, could we at least get a “he’s got a high ankle sprain and those things can really linger” instead of “he’s a little banged up.” When I keep hearing “he’s a little banged up” or “he’s not quite 100%” i can’t help but start thinking it’s a “want to” issue. You can play banged up and less than 100% and still be very effective.
Again, I don’t want a full, detailed report, but just a little clarity would be nice.

Peoples' issue this week is a non-football injury that he had no way of preventing.MrCraig wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:59 pmRight, I totally understand. Re: What question would you like asked of Coach Clark at the next press conference.
The press conference is on Monday morning. Injuries aren’t assessed until Tuesday so what is there to tell? The only other fan interaction is the Tuesday night live show hosted by Adam Witten who isn’t going to push that issue. So anything that occurs or is decided after that time frame isn’t going to be reported as there is no outlet for those types of nuggets.MrCraig wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:59 pmRight, I totally understand. To your point, if Coach came out Friday and said Cam didn’t travel, what more would you want? I just don’t think that he is in a position to satisfy the masses with anything he says so just say nothing.

Just be thankful David Ware is there to ask questions -- you guys got any idea how many reporters actually cover App State Football????BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 12:19 pmIn David Ware form...Coach, I have noticed that you may change your wardrobe at halftime from time to time...black to white, white to black, yellow to white , white to yellow, black to a different black top...can you shed some light on what goes into your wardrobe change at halftime?

David and that's about it.
It's still not relevant outside of a 75 mile radius east or south of Boone.
The ('A' BRAND is strong) talk is a joke.

Is it a lack of effort or a lack of execution and bad eyes on defense?
I would run and take my answer off line.

I have a few but if I could just ask one it would be, what went on in the weight room in the off season? We have been pushed around by 3 Sunbelt teams, one of which is transitioning up from the FCS. With a few exceptions we look like inferior athletes.

Re: What question would you like asked of Coach Clark at the next press conference.
I usually catch Mountaineer Talk and read some of the Facebook questions people ask. Grain of salt taken but there's no way most of them are gonna get asked or answered. People ask about certain schemes that they would like to see. Others ask about player availability. I totally agree with not being told but when Clark says that player A practiced on Sunday and looked good then the following Saturday he never plays it's frustrating. We all just ask "what the hell happened to him"?
I just want to know why have we abandoned jet sweeps and other misdirection plays and why do we telegraph up the gut runs. I'd also be curious as to what are we saving our freshman running back for?

Re: What question would you like asked of Coach Clark at the next press conference.
Fair question. My only question would be, is there an answer that Clark could give that would be satisfactory? People on here have seemingly identified what they know to be the issues. If he says that those aren’t the issue, would he be believed?
