We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Gameday!!!
not for canning Dale, he is better than this. But this is not good. I think this starts at the top. Just like that season is over. Can we find enough wins to make a bowl, for what thats worth. Not sure where we find motivation, but we do not have it. Is it time to shelve Seniors and those who are moving out to see what we will have next year. i am for it. this is not the App State team, player led, that we are used to and we have lost the edge that makes us who we are. It starts at the top and works its way down. Its on Shawn to fix this and can he?

Desmond Howard said it on college Gameday last week: I’d nobody wants your coach, pretty soon you won’t either.

Re: Gameday!!!
It’s on the coach. You teach it and if they can’t do it, you find someone who can.
You might even have to convert one of your RB’s into a DB. Hell, we use enough of them.

He’s a walk-on. Our secondary has been suspect all year but dang that looking like an fcs kid out there. He’s trying his best but it’s not a good sign he was in the game

Would love to hear it. There’s nothing positive to take away from the coaching staff after that

Re: Gameday!!!
We have a lot of young kids on Defense getting their legs. As far as heart, I don't question that with our kids at all just watch Chase, or Cam or Nick....you think those guys don't have heart? I disagree. We have had some big misses at certain positions (DB) based on coaching changes, injury, kids leaving football etc and we are behind the 8 ball, but I don't question the heart. As much as I hate to admit it, we have terrible coaching consistency and it has caught up to us in a big way. Find me a team that has 3 head coaches in 5 years, 5 OC in 5 years, 4 CB coaches in 5 years, etc and is successful. They don't exist and sadly we are not the exception. The turnover has caught up to us and it sucks. I am not making excuses. I think we should be better and win more this year but I also realize the realities of college football and we are not the team that exceeds those realities. We don't have the talent and our head coach is learning on the job.appdaze wrote: ↑Thu Nov 03, 2022 9:59 pmnah, 2004 was a different world. The heart that Richie, Atwater and some of those guys had would have broken our current team. You could also see the beginnings of a great team with Dexter, Lynch, Krich, and others getting their feet under them and gearing up for our breakout 2005 season. That team was on its way up. Our current team is flushing it all away.

Re: Gameday!!!
I have a hard time believing that, we lost, they won we were not better. But the "A" game of this team is good enough. But for some reason this time chooses to not have that "A" game but in spurts and that does not get it done. we have never dealt with that issue before. How is that fixed?

Re: Gameday!!!
I’m not at the preseason pick, we have a shit ton of studs on our team. I’m 100% putting this on coaching. 10000000%. Can’t lose to Texas State, JMU with an insane come from behind win, bowl games, we will be lucky to see a bowl game and get a W this year.
Clark better wisen up and can Dale Jones. Otherwise I think the expectation will be for us to remain mediocre with the occasional 8-9 win season.
Love App state no matter what, but I strongly prefer to be football dominant and win championships annually

I don’t post on here much anymore, but Clark does look in over his head. Just stands on the sideline no speaking to anyone; F2F or on his headset
