Got to like way JA ran the offense. Run D was gashed…won’t see many pound it like their RB did…verdict still out there…thought OLine played well. No chip shot but Hughes makes the first FG, they need aTD to win in regulation…of course we got a gift to keep it tied

Pass interference
Should have been a flag
It wasn’t interference. However, it wasn’t interference when they called it on App on a very similar play earlier in the game either.
It was pass interference - our receiver was pushed while the ball was in the air. But the officiating was good overall.

Lots of takeaways from this game, but I feel better about Hughes.
He showed up tonight when it mattered.

100% what I said. Got to call it both ways. If they hadn't called it earlier on us, I'm fine with no call there.

I’m approaching 40 and I’ll be dead by the next time the holes schedule us on the gridiron. Impressed with the team we have on the field after two games. Need to propel this into the next two games and then to conference play.

Super proud of this team! UNC is legit good...and we were right there with em...loved our play calling...coaches were great...defense has improved.. Maye is best QB in the nation...and our was great tonight too...hopefully we can continue to improve...this does not feel like a 6-6 type team
Maye isn't the best QB in the country. Like your other points. Coaches were drastically better at calling this game. I'll definitely question some of Clark's conservative calls on offense while on the road, but he has to feel the pulse of his team. Hope he doesn't regret it

Maye isn’t close to being the best qb in the country, regardless of what Tim Hasslebeck says 100 times a broadcast. He’s good, but I wouldn’t pick him in the top 10 of the draft.

If the run defense doesn't improve we could see some of the better running teams we face take note and try to continuously pound the ball. Of course no other team we face will have a QB close to as good as Maye to where the pass is a major first threat that may have kept the LBs on their heels instead of toes at times. I agree though, got to clean that up, but overall impressive day by the Mountaineers.

He’s definitely a great college qb. Not convinced he’s a pro qb.

For those who think other teams will pound us running the ball how about who is going to slow us down? We are well balanced and will put up some serious stats.

0 chance Burger gets his starting postion back if JA remains on this trajectory, right? I feel better about him leading the offense than Brice last year.

Caleb Williams while as great as he is, I personally feel is a system QB. Which doesn't always translate to the NFL, as has been the case with many Heisman winning QBs.

I'd say at the level Caleb Williams is the best QB in the nation, but often times the "analyst" look at the abilities and features a player can bring at the next level when making those projections. Can they be wrong? Absolutely, but someone has to fill the air time when Stephen A Smith isn't talking. Which isn't often.

People are going to pound us running. We are down 3 Nose Tackles and are missing our typical Mike backers. Clearly evident tonight. Some are just blocking dummies. Just have to outscore people.

Only thing that will slow the offense down is injuries (Knock on wood that doesn't happen), or questionable/conservative play calling. We are pretty well balanced, and it was definitely enjoyable to watch the offense today. Still is tough to see 320 yards allowed on the ground.

His passes have no zip.... usually behind receiver.
Did you see him after game, the last hit hurt him bad.
