Based on Harrington’s demeanor and how others came up to him - I would be surprised to see him play again this season. What a bummer for that guy.

It still hurts. I’ll give all the players and coaches mad kudos though, I was hella impressed. Aguilar is HIM

Meanwhile Caleb Williams has 13 tuddies this season, 4 in first half of Stanford game.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 8:44 pmMaye isn’t close to being the best qb in the country, regardless of what Tim Hasslebeck says 100 times a broadcast. He’s good, but I wouldn’t pick him in the top 10 of the draft.

PREACH. We NEED to give this team and specifically Shawn Clark a lot of credit for the effort we just saw. We heard all week how we were getting blown out. That team reminded me of prior SBC champions!App_in_Maiden wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 11:47 pmI’m still waiting on the haters…where y’all at?!?!?

Re: Up Next...UNC
We still need to see sustainable success under Clark. I've been on the fence for a while and remain so. Love what I saw tonight, few questions on our conservative play calling, but not enough to get in an uproar. Hated the timeout after the big sack on the last regulation drive.
Let's put some wins together and then evaluate. Things went off the rails after A&M last season.

2022 - why is Clark going for it on 4th down. That is too aggressive..
2023- what's up with this conservative play calling

Re: Up Next...UNC
There are not "moral victories" and it sucks losing this game, but I'm sure not hanging my head. Based on that game, I feel better than I did after the UNC game last year. We saw the results of the off-season adjustments on BOTH sides of the ball. We got pressure on Maye and kept a very potent offense in check. Yeah, I think we were worn down a bit at the end, but we wont face another team with that good an offense. Looked to me like we had to pick our poison and we chose to contain Maye. That's makes total sense to me. He's the real deal, but that RB was a load! I'm very proud of how the team played from the first possession through the final OT.
Play calling is always going to get criticized for a loss. I think the coaches called a very good game and we showed a balanced offense. They let JA air the ball out but got Noel plenty of carries. Carolina's DBs were greatly improved from last year but JA shows great poise!
I think this season is shaping up to look very good. Yeah, I wanted 12-0 in the regular season but we will have to get that 12th win in our bowl game. I can live with that.

Biggest negative for me: running between tackles.
Biggest Positive: JA has the quickest release I’ve seen in years…with pace.

Re: Up Next...UNC
I don't disagree but we were also playing against a P5 Defense that held SC to negative net rushing. Hopefully we have out RB depth back soon. Roberts and Marshall would be a new dimension to the running game.
It's going to be hard for SunBelt teams to defend our offense, or at least that's how it looks right now. Joey can air it out and is very poised. He can also leg it out, which opponents have to account for.
