We don't always agree on things, but damn if we aren't 100% on the same page with all this. Makes me sick. I work in a large "networking" related field out of Charlotte and the "aren't you cute" smugness from other NC/SC university alums towards App is exhausting.AppStateNews wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:10 pmBut it happens to every school so we should be ok with it since the blue wearing bastards play basketball well!yosef69 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:03 pmI just looked. App is funded less than any other public university in the state. Thanks baby blue!appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 12:59 pmThat is a fact. UNCA is an odd exception, not counting the HBUs.

If this doesn't finalize the reason for the hatred (remember, not everyone gives a shit about UNC basketball), nothing will and your blind by that blue.
Hope the bus door doesn't hit you in the ass when you jump off that bandwagon.

So is the "dead horse" anything about Carolina? Has reached 6 pages. That's hilarious.

I truly didn't expect it to go that far- but atleast I know that I'm not the only one who gets my blood boiled over it. HahaBigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 3:44 pmSo is the "dead horse" anything about Carolina? Has reached 6 pages. That's hilarious.

I have some concerns that some of my friends that attended the Eric Church concert last night may now be suffering from brain damage. Please have them in your thoughts and prayers.

My brother went. He knows my disdain for Church and still asked me for a hookup on tickets (career related), thinking I'd even entertain the thought. He proceeded to send me snaps from the show to piss me off. Although, he did say he was going to wear the App State hat I gave him a few years agoNattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:09 amI have some concerns that some of my friends that attended the Eric Church concert last night may now be suffering from brain damage. DUDE>>>>Absolutely it makes you less of a fan. This is serious. Change happens only when enough people care. We should have more programs and we or at least the western side of the state decide on the programs. I am truly excited about bringing in Hickory. This was brilliant. It will make a huge difference. We need the political capacity to make changes. Hickory and surrounding getting on board with App will be an impactful change.CoachRob wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 7:36 amSo UNC football has been more successful cause they have more anesthesiologist donating and going to games, Is that right?AppStateNews wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 11:30 pmNo, that is where the hatred stems from. UNC holier than thou attitude. Literally making it impossible for anybody but them to succeed at a higher rate academically.
Which, in turn does impact athletics because of size of donations. Who has more disposable income? A teacher or an anesthesiologist? It's not close and you know it.
And on a more serious note, does it make those of us any less of App state football/basketball (any sports) fan is we don't get so emotional, irate, and upset over the academic side of things that we have absolutely zero control over? That doesn't even come close to impacting the majority of us?

ECU won the right to have start their school of medicine because Leo Jenkins had
Western NC is mostly rural and has some of the poorest counties in the state.
But who would spearhead an initiative to bring a school of medicine to Boone?

I feel it is my duty to inform as many people as possible that, by definition, you don’t need to have graduated from a school to be considered an alumn. You just have to have been enrolled.

It also means, unfortunately, my wife is a Georgia Southern alum. She took an online summer class through GASO so she could graduate a semester early.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 7:15 pmIf that's the case I am an alum of 6 community colleges.
