It's ironic that just two days after Maglore walked away, Cox got dinged up enough and dehydrated enough to miss the opening bell of the second half at El Cid. If he'd stayed around, he'd have had a shot at some downs that turned out to be critical to the outcome. It's a shame; but it's life.

More kids will leave the program as it finally dawns on them that if they can't be successful at the FCS level, they'll be wasting a lot of time and energy to ride the pine in FBS...probably never making a travel roster...maybe not getting a uni for home games. That's a harsh reality of collegiate sports. On a roster of 108 players, we maybe have 50-60 that have the athleticism for where we're headed. And that's a huge maybe.

I could have posted all this but honestly I was too tired that night to type it up. Thanks fish for posting it.

FYI-Listed below are two links for Dylan Clayton and a youtube/hudl clip for Trey Anderson; just for looks.

Perhaps that explains the attrition. I'd be tempted to leave if I had worked hard for two or three years and got beaten out by freshmen and we aren't even in FBS yet.
