I noticed that in the section where I sat. One guy who looked to be about 55-60 was shouting F--- you Satterfield. Luckily that rap music blared him out part of the time. This is why I harp so much about excessive alcohol usage. That makes me a fuddy duddy to some on here, but what the heck.
Don't blame alcohol because some people are jerks! If someone was yelling "F---" anything they can't use alcohol as an excuse.

I'm half way kidding, but I'm old school too and what we use to say was that "a drunk man's actions is a sober man's thoughts". I'm not a total believer in that, but in the case quoted I'd have to say it's most likely true!

I get your post and agree to an extent. My problem with alcohol is the excessive use as I noted. Some people can handle it and remain in control of their behavior and some can't. The ones who can't have an impact on the rest of us negatively. How do you explain to an 8 year old what the "f bomb is"."

By saying it's a "bad word" and letting it go. But I get your point, but I don't blame "the drink" as much as that some people are just a-holes. I get your point on excessive-ness however!

I am just wondering why Saterfield is not trying Logan Hallock #16.????? He's that QB that went in for Jamal last year during the Western Carolina game. He broke school records that day. I thought he had an incredible game. I see he is the holder, but they have him just standing on the sideline. Seems to me that with the way Kam and Jamal are playing that he would try Hallock. He was listed in the Media Guide as a backup QB. I understand that he is a good leader, too.

I honestly believe the guy who yelled in my ears for the entire duration of the game was totally sober. Which I'm not sure if it makes it better or worse.

When they hear it enough times, they no longer accept it just as a "bad word." They want to know what it means. Of course, their age mates eventually explain it to them in vulgar terms,
But I completely understand your point. It's just that the use of that word and "'god" have just become to wiely accepted in my opinion. My next door neighbor's middle school child was just suspended for cursing out the teacher and a classmate for calling the teacher and a classmate 'gd, f-----g bit## out loud in the class room. I had overheard both the mother and the child using those terms to address each other several times in the past. Makes we old codgers wonder just how far our society is going to go in the direction of total immorality.

With that, I'll stop my rant.
