Let's move on and give OUR SCHOOL some support. If our football administration needs to clean house with dicipline-problem players then so be that too.
I want to know who's going to clean house in the athletics department?
Nobody any time soon is my guess. I don't believe we have the money, or the desire, to make the changes that need to be made in the short term. I also believe SS deserves some more time if he gets the assistants that we need and not just old playing buddies.
He made the difficult decision with Dale Jones. I trust Satterfield will make similar moves when necessary.

Folks I live in South Carolina surrounded by Bulldogs, Terriers, Paladins, Chuck Southerners all who are giving me grief over our losses and our move to The Belt. I am also sad over Armanti's inglorious exit from Charlotte.

But do you know what? I STILL have my App State SC license tag, I STILL have Block A and Block A Helmet magnets on my black and gold pick up truck. I still have Appalachian State University proudly displayed on the back window and the Yosef Silhouette over the State of NC on the inside of the front window.

In addition I STILL proudly show my class ring when asked where I went to college.

None of that will change. I am a proud Mountaineer and will be so regardless of what the football team does in this transition. I'll be proud Mountaineer after Dr. Peacock leaves. No matter our record in any sport, my heart belongs in Boone.

Why? Because my name is on a diploma from Appalachian State University, Class of 1977.

I am proud of my school as a whole, not just one segment of it.

Every morning after my devotional and prayer time, I utter to myself these words. "Today I give my All for Appalachian State" and I mean it.

Right now we need to get behind these kids and their coaches. They have taken us on a wonderful ride the last few years. It is our turn now to carry them.

As Robert Shaw said so eloquently in "The Sting", "You Folla?"
