It is not Satterfield or the players faults

Unread post by ASUPATCH » Sat Oct 19, 2013 3:41 pm

It is BOTH. Satterfield has been a joke thus far as a leader. The play calling has lacked any quick threat ability. Horrible clock management. The one thing in the passing game we do well we only attempt once or twice a game and its a RB screen to Cox that usually goes for big gains. We run block well but cannot give Bryant(very unimpressive in his own right) much time. On defense we are two small to stop the run and not fast enough to rush the passer. How in the hell is it possible that we are two slow and small at the same time? Nate Woody has done nothing to make me believe in his abilities. If you cant get to the passer you have to blitz. Who cares if you give up the bomb if your gonna just let a team go 11 plays and 80 yards anyway. Completely disgusted.

Oh yeah GO APPS

I actually agree with this alot. I have read thread after thread of people trashing Satterfield for flopping with a team loaded with talent. Poor coaching aside, this team is just not that talented. I am sorry but, eventually it comes down to just manning up a beating the man in front of you. Apps lineman are getting dominated. Maybe some of that is scheme, but when you line up across from somebody, you just have to be the better player. I do not see many FCS level starters on this team, much less FBS level starters. The talent is not there, and thats on recruiting.

I cannot understand how people lay this at the feet of an Athletic Department Administrator

One could start with: cooking the books, disrespecting a legend, or hiring only "Yes" men.

Right or wrong, it's the same way they blamed Roachel Laney.

Well if your going to blame Charlie for those things, I will pile on. Telling Jerry that his contract would not be renewed and actually following through with the decision and allowing Jerry to hire sh***y coaches to sh***y contracts then I can agree with you.

Sarcasm intended.
