Media for Chatty Game

Unread post by 24AppState » Wed Oct 30, 2013 8:37 am

Hey, hoping for some help. I live in Charleston but will driving up to Charlotte for the weekend. Unfortunately, it will be during the Chatty game. Is there an app or something where I can listen to the game on my phone? I have an App State TV acct. can it be watched on my phone (never tried it)? Also, anybody thats experienced this, how soon will we be able to pick up a channel that carries the game, and what station would it be on? Thanks! Go Apps!

Yeah, download the "GoApp" App and you can watch/listen to everything right there. Admittedly, I haven't watched a game live, but I've watched the TV shows and highlights and the quality is great.

You have pay a little for the radio feature on the App app but that works well on the phone. I use it a lot. Also in the Charlotte area you can listen on 97.3 over the air. I'm not sure how soon you will get it coming from the South, but that's a pretty good signal.

Well, you should be able to get 97.3 anywhere in Charlotte. I remember last year, I was driving back from Georgia during game time. I put it on 97.3 and listened to mostly static until about halfway between Charlotte and Columbia. That was one frustrating way to listen to App football.

WKBC with its 100,000 watt transmitter is a behemoth North and South but not so much East and West. There are only a few spots in Asheboro where it can be barely picked up.

The radio broadcast is free via the app. I've used it in a pinch before.
Give 'em hell!
