Just one small favor. Could we pay off the last project first?

Well, it's not out of the "picture" to improve the board in KBS. The cost is not by any means an all-out-of-pocket expense for the athletic department. Different manufacturers have different schemes for placing their technology. Not sure how it might have changed in the last five or six years, but Daktronics initially installed a board for ASU in exchange for an agreement to allow its company to sell all the ads and program all the videos and music. Since that time, IMG College has signed a comprehensive, long-term agreement with ASU for sports marketing. When the Daktronics contract expires, I'd like to think that Charlie or our AD at the time will use every bit of leverage available to sign the best deal possible for the biggest and brightest HD board possible.

There are a lot of fine manufacturers of this type of outdoor gear in the marketplace besides Daktronics--AT&T, Mitsubishi Diamond Vision, GoVision, Sony, MrLED, Impactav and many others. There's a real deal out there for us somewhere!

No problem, just let me pony up that money. I think I've got it lying around here somewhere. I'm gonna check under the couch first
