We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: ODU - discussion and game
I'll be honest. I had written these kids off. They may have a legit shot at bowl eligible. Go figure. Just glad they never laid down.
Go App!

If the kids don’t give up, what does that tell you? It tells you
- They’re continue to work hard
- They believe in the coaches and what they’re teaching each week
It ain’t perfect, and it doesn’t always look pretty. But it’s improvement.
And this season is far from over.

And don’t forget about the App O-Line. No sacks allowed AGAIN this week.

Re: ODU - discussion and game
I thought ODU was supposed to run for 400 yards and the QB would pass for like 600 yardsBootsy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 4:49 pm^100% THIS^BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 4:44 pmWe are not good especially on d but our kids have fight they do not give up. I’m proud of them for that

This defense is getting better. How do we know? Allowed 14 yds rushing in the game. Five sacks, three in the 2nd half. They allowed 165 yds in the 2nd half.

I could be wrong, but isn’t that way they play the game.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 5:16 pmI thought ODU was supposed to run for 400 yards and the QB would pass for like 600 yardsBootsy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 4:49 pm^100% THIS^BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 4:44 pmWe are not good especially on d but our kids have fight they do not give up. You are so full of crap. How the hell would you know if our crowd was loud today. The crowd was great today and last week.NewApp wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 2:47 pmWe are spoiled and we don't have our legendary loud crowd anymore.

Some fans on here did lay down. I was almost one of them when we kept getting bad breaks and was falling for the gloom and doom posts.

Re: ODU - discussion and game
I have not missed a game in the past 20 years. Either in person, on TV, streaming, or radio. 99% of the time, I can hear the crowd loud and clear on the radio even drowning out the announcers on big plays. First half today almost nothing. Second half a bit better and loud bursts at times. Most notable was booing ref calls. I may, as you say, be full of crap (I wouldn't be alone on this board though). But on this, I'm not. Even the announcers kept saying we need the crowd to get into the game. Know what you are talking about or STFU.proasu89 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:33 pmYou are so full of crap. To be fair, there are more screw ups than successes to celebrate.
