We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Liberty Tickets
Good morning. I’m still here, just not posting for those that worry. But I do appreciate you letting me live rent free in your head.
I wanted to reach out and remind folks that if you sold tickets to the Liberty game on the secondary market and you don’t refund the purchaser their money, you are a shitty person. I know that the going rate was around $100 and that’s a lot of money for some folks. If you donated the tickets after cancelation, that’s great, but that sold ticket wasn’t yours to donate without consulting the purchaser on their wishes. I’m sure most of you are good people and better Mountaineers than the one guy on here that refuses to refund the young lady her hard earned money.
Do what’s right and don’t make me out you.

Re: Liberty Tickets
There is nothing to question. You took someone’s hard earned money and chose to pocket it instead of returning it. It cost you nothing to be a decent human being and you chose the alternate path. Enjoy that profit DS.mountaineerman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 8:23 amDon’t question people’s integrity 94 which is what you’re doing. That’s is what’s pretty shitty

Re: Liberty Tickets
Sounds to me like you are the shitty person. The liberty person has the ticket In their possession. The game was cancelled because of a hurricane that caused incredible destruction. I personally have not thought much about tickets since. I’m sure that person hasn’t either. Sounds like you are meddling in someone else’s business. Tell the guy to contact him and work it out instead of getting a weasel to do what They should do. Questioning someone’s integrity on a message board is pretty shitty.

Re: Liberty Tickets
Not a liberty person that purchased it. It was my daughter who is an App Hickory student. My wife and I are both App alumni. My daughter has thought about the ticket because she is a full time student who works a job 30-40 hrs a week because she is independent and wants to succeed on her own. It may not be alot but like my dad says its the principle of the matter. The original seller of the ticket doubled up. He sold the ticket and got the refund.

I reached out to mountaineerman in DM to gauge his intent prior to posting in an open forum. His response was what prompted my post here. I’m sure that he wouldn’t want someone to do this to his kid. Re: Liberty Tickets
I'm wondering how it's going to work out the other way....I had one extra pair, sold on Stubhub....they were purchased and I transferred the tickets...but then when game officially cancelled Stubhub voids the sale, credits the buyer's money back... so the buyer is not charged (sellers don't get paid until after event, so I never received any money)....but tickets are already transferred; they're in the buyer's possession.....so I'm probably out the money for those; not a huge deal, but that's probably going to be what happens.

Think you heard one side of the story and made an assumption. Better investigate further before you run your mouth.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:05 amI reached out to mountaineerman in DM to gauge his intent prior to posting in an open forum. Just let the coaches review the tape. What we have going on are very correctable mistakes. We should have this all cleared up before Thursday night. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Re: Liberty Tickets
I had to call about a refund on the single game tickets I purchased for a friend. Since I had already transferred the tickets, it did not show up as a purchase in the transaction log. The ticket office had to find the transfer request to issue the refund.

Re: Liberty Tickets
I should leave this answer to the king of Dick heads the author of the thread that falsely accused me of trying to scam someone but the ticket office said they were going to start processing requests NOVEMBER 1.

I also have the ability to call you out as someone in the university. Don’t make me do that. That would make me sad. But I will .mountaineerman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:18 amDo what’s right and don’t make me out you!AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 7:14 amGood morning.
