Wofford roll call
Saturday's Game
Appalachian St. (2-8, 2-4 SoCon) at No. 24 Wofford (5-4, 4-2)
1:30 p.m at Gibbs stadium
Weather expected to be cloudy, high of 67.
I'm not sure about how this one will play out, not that it really matters aside from playing spoiler to the Terrier's playoff hopes. We've had flashes of solid playing and have lost some close games to good teams - WoCo has been pretty inconsistent and coming off a tough loss at UTC. I'd like to see us healthy to move forward to keep the Jug next week, but that's NEXT week.
So, who's in for Sparkle City this weekend?

Re: Wofford roll call
I'll be there loud and proud. There are nine seniors on this team that have played all four years at Appalachian. Regardless of the score of the game, those guys have earned my cheers and thanks.
Karl Anderson - graduated in May and chose to pursue his MBA to play this last season for App
Ian Barnard - no redshirt year for Ian, one of the few "veterans" on the OL
Patrick Blaylock - walk-on, hard worker, finally in the right position for his skill set
Michael Frazier - took a redshirt year in the middle of his career to switch from offense to defense
Jamal Londry-Jackson - still hasn't given up from what I can see
Andrew Peacock - only 3 catches away from school record I believe
Adam Scott - another May graduate who came back to play a final year while working on his MBA
Rodger Walker - remember the UTC pick 6?
Tony Washington - Academic All-Star and miraculous catch dude
These guys only have two games left in the black and gold. Let's cheer them out in style!

I'm about 50/50 on it. I'm returning from the road on Friday and will have to see how I feel about driving from the ATL. The heart wants to make the trip.

We'll have to have an "Every Game, Every Down" gathering at the end of the season. I know there are quite a few of us in the club.kickass143 wrote:Haven't missed one this year so YES! Count me in! My first trip to Wofford and I'm looking for good things out of our team Saturday!
