Thank you Seniors!
You came in as boys and are leaving as men. Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and willingness to give your all. It's been a tough season with some very trying circumstances but you played every down like it would be your last. The App Nation salutes you and wishes you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.
PS. Andrew our prayers are with you!

I concur with all of the App Nation..THANK YOU SENIORS!!! Almost teared up when Karl scored on the interception and the whole team mobbed him in the back of the end zone. Reminded me of when Trey Elder scored a TD in the waning moments of the NC game!!!

Re: Thank you Seniors!
Another Amen here. Thanks Seniors. You guys really impressed us this year as the season went on. With the move up to FBS and changes that created, injuries, personnel losses, and other issues = I bet it was hard to find ways to motivate the team to find a goal to play for. Thanks for not quitting and leading the underclassmen by setting good examples. You Seniors showed good leadership and I think the team ended the season well. You will be missed. Thank you, Good luck, and GOD bless.

The seniors did a great job of holding this team together. Tony Washington is one of the toughest guys ever to wear the Black and Gold and Anthony Peacock very quietly but his name in the record books. Thanks to all the seniors!!

I agree - many thanks and great appreciation for the seniors! This team really came together in the second half of the season. It was special to see the team's reaction to Karl Anderson's pick six and Rommel Andre (redshirt junior in his last game) carrying the ball to near the goal line in the waning moments. Great team spirit!JMappfan5 wrote:I concur with all of the App Nation..THANK YOU SENIORS!!! Re: Thank you Seniors!
I ran into Karl's mom on the field after the game. She said that Karl had six personal goals in college. He had accomplished five of them so far. The sixth was to get a pick six.
I think this was the only celebration penalty we had the entire year. I'll take it. Especially since Matics still got the touchback.
As for Andre, it was special to see that happen in a game. Every Thursday, Satterfield has the "Scout Bowl", where the scout teams play against each other while their teammates cheer on. Funny thing was that when he went in, everyone in my section had no idea who he was. Even the PA guy took two plays to find his name.

Re: Thank you Seniors!
Anderson is my personal MVP on the team this year just for his leadership. The pick 6 was like Elder's TD run in the NC game. It capped the career off for both of them..T-Dog wrote:I ran into Karl's mom on the field after the game. She said that Karl had six personal goals in college. I agree. That penalty didn't bother me a bit. And DJ and Brownie didn't know who Andre was either. Brownie even said "Who is 39?" They said he wasn't on their player list for the game and DJ looked at the full roster to find him. I didn't realize until after the game that he was one of the RS Jr's that was not coming back. I then knew why he wanted to score so bad on those last couple of runs. Can't fault him for that since he's been a proud member of this team for four years and knew it was his only chance to score a college touchdown.T-Dog wrote:I ran into Karl's mom on the field after the game.
