I sat beside someone that comes to lots of App athletics. He drives from Greenville at that. Loves App State athletics. And an alumnus of ECU.

We are officially a volleyball school and I’m here for it. Love the fight in this team. I drove up to Charlottesville for UVA and it was neat seeing so many folks clearly just there for Maya who weren’t App fans otherwise.

Haven’t posted here since 2019 but I still lurk.

The hardest hitting outside hitter I’d seen and I’m glad she left UT and App was thrilled to get her. This is terrible news.

Great win tonight over JMU. The combo of Winteroff, Mackey, and Hutchens at the net was lethal! I thought our setter did a great job of getting them the ball! Davis was great as a libero with some heads up plays. It would be nice if we can do it again and go 2-0 this weekend.

Maya Winterhoff got her 1000th kill near the end of tonight's match.

App dropped the first two sets in an awful fashion - they are so much better than how they played those two. Got the reverse sweep though. Barely.

App won in a hard fought 3 set sweep today; combined with yesterday’s reverse sweep that’s 6 straight sets against ODU!

ODU came to Boone prepared. They played far above their record this weekend.

The girls played a great last 6 sets of volleyball. Hutchens was unbelievable today. If we can get Maddie Smith back healthy next year then the combo of Smith & Hutchens will be great 1-2 combo. Hopefully the coaching staff can bring in some recruits to match their level.
