Having added my name to the list I now feel qualified to comment:

To all alumni out there who care for our Mountaineers and wish that they succeed at all of their respective sports I urge you to contribute to this club/fund. As a certified athletic trainer I can assure you that our strength and conditioning program does much more than make our Mountaineers bigger, faster, stronger, and quicker. The program also keeps them more injury-free and if they do get injured it's usually not as severe. Sure there are the catastrophic ones (like ACL tears) but they'll happen regardless.

This is strictly my observations from 36+ years in a high school setting but one in which I firmly believe. As I tell my coaches, the weight room is my friend. I hope more will contribute.

Hey Everyone. Sorry I haven't posted much since Wed but I had to take some time to do some much needed and past due computer repairs. I'm still working out a few bugs but I had to wait until after signing day to do this work.

Now to the important info. From info today the fund now has $15, 223.68!!!!! Unbelievable work by everyone involved and a HUGE thanks to all who have donated so far. We're close to our goal and we're going to make a final push to get us to the mark and past it. And just a reminder that this fund # is always going to be there and so is the online link so every little additional tax deductible bit will continue to help our S & C staff for years to come. Again HUGE thanks to everyone who has donated. We are truly blessed with a great Mountaineer Family!!!

Thanks to everyone!!!! I've sent a message to Yosef to update the graph and keep editing the PM as each person donates. Now at $15,673.68 and I'll keep adding to it until he pulls the message. We'll have the graph updated as soon as he gets the message. Time to blow right through $16,000.00!! (Would love to see the graph spewing over like a volcano :D)
