Duck is not big enough to line up on the line. The one time I saw him do it last night he was probably giving up a foot and 50lbs (exaggeration). He is great in coverage and he closes quick. Be happy for that. I agree our coaches are not dumb.

Re: Stink chat
Our seats are right behind the visitor’s bench. That was the most unenthusiastic sideline I’ve seen since Georgia State in the snow. No trash talk and their body language said “we’re just running out the clock on this season.”
Also, that’s the smallest and most unathletic looking roster I’ve seen here since Western our last year in FCS. The next coach is going to have to overhaul that team from A-to-Z.

They seem to have more fat dudes with the shirts hanging out below their jerseys. Also had the guy with the raggedy shirt that was ripped on the sleeve. That program has a ton of work to do. Did hear the name Fortune once. Hate to bring it up but what a mistake that kid made although he might be riding the pine in BooneHeffnerIV wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2017 11:25 amOur seats are right behind the visitor’s bench. I noticed unusual actions of the snapper before the fake punt but did not really think we were going to run it. Great decision!

Re: Stink chat
IMO it says alot about how we start games. Why not be really aggressive on the first possession, go down and score first?

Re: Stink chat
We were about to do just that, but a penalty killed the drive. Remember that tune?

I attributed that to us holding, This kicking the stink for being too poor to afford quality unis needs to end. Let's show some respect instead of searching for wounds to salt.

Dissenting opinions are fine as long as they're not a jerk about it...and judging by what you guys have replied to, he wasn't a jerk about it. One of my best friends is still anti-Satterfield and anti-FBS...doesn't mean we belittle him into keeping his mouth shut. Fact is, first half WAS disappointing. Team and coach DID appear apathetic but they turned it around in the 2nd half and got rolling. Hindsight is 20/20.

Re: Stink chat
This team and these Coaches are NOT apathetic. Just because they are calm and quiet does not mean they don't care. I saw several instances last night where Coaches were in kids' face but not screaming at them. They were teaching them what they did wrong, then slapped them on the helmet or shoulder pads. Stringer was constantly coming to Davis and working with him after EVERY series. We have good leadership and these kids work hard to win...it's not a video game!!!
