Might have something to do with UofL's HR and the holiday season.

Since you have hijacked this thread, I'll beg to differ: Whispering Pines in Albytown is best. Hickory Smoked. No charge cards. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

There is no more of a ringing endorsement for the Roof hire than UNCC fans thinking that gives them a leg up somehow.Nugget49 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 4:49 pmThis is the smartest thing gonzo has ever said, and I endorse the Roof hire.Gonzo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 6:22 pm40 pages of hysterical tripe and somehow this is the worst post of the bunch.Appstate35 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 6:04 pm87ASUgrad wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 11:03 amWe are heading east to Raleigh for the weekend to see our oldest son. We are going to the NC State basketball game tonight and will talk with friends to see what they think of our football coaches coming from State. I have always heard good things about them I am pretty sure.
BBQ - Also, will get some of that great Eastern NC BBQ this weekend. As agreed by all on this board Eastern NC BBQ is the best!![]()
Eastern BBQ is terrible. Vinegar does not belong on any food that is good.
Thanks UNCC fans!

There are a lot of confusing pieces to this puzzle. If Raleigh reports are correct and it is Roof, someone deserves a butt chewing for allowing it to be released by anyone but the Visor. If the Visor has chosen Roof it was his choice and he should announce it. NC State will not miss him at their bowl game. He is an assistant, not full DC. If he is just milking State for bonus money, that tells me something about his character. Its more common than not for anyone under HC to be nomadic. This isn't a "normal" corporate job. There should be no notice to work out. If you are dedicated to being the best coach you can be you get to your players as soon as possible to start earning respect and building that trust. If it is Roof he needs to get his butt up the mountain and get to work and earn his paycheck from us.

If the reason for the delay is bonus related, I say kudos. Those guys work tireless hours and never see their families.Appster99 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 5:07 pmThere are a lot of confusing pieces to this puzzle. Shouldn’t he be here getting the wheels on motion for next year? Why are we waiting? Head coaches don’t even stay to coach the bowl usually. What is going on?

I would imagine that whatever the case may be, it was agreed upon in negotiations between current employer and future employer. It is the dead period for recruiting so what is it that you want him to do? You question his character? I call it integrity. Stay and finish what you started.Appster99 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 5:07 pmThere are a lot of confusing pieces to this puzzle. Who knows with the way this season of coaching changes have gone. But in my opinion, I don’t think so. If they had hired a true “U” guy, then maybe, but they need a lot of help on the offensive side of the ball and while I think that Dorsey can be an awesome recruiter, they need a proven commodity in this area now.postalapp90 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 6:42 amAnyone think we lose Dorsey to Miami with coaching change.

You'd think Temple would learn to NOT mess around with Thug U:
"It's the second time that Miami technically has hired Temple's coach away from the Owls. The Hurricanes brought in Al Golden from there in 2010, and eventually replaced him with Richt in 2015."
