Just put the guy on ignore and go on with your day. You’ll miss absolutely nothing.
Yep. Did it last night. Much better experience for me.
Regarding the AP Poll, I was looking at voter consistency (seen here):

Definitely some interesting stuff in there. Shout out to Dylan Sinn for putting us at 19!!! He’s a Fort Wayne beat writer affiliated with Notre Dame. He’s got Michigan at 20, gotta wonder if that was on purpose haha.
It is just funny because the very people who are so concerned about a rating just put people on ignore instead of debating something. That is what everyone under 30 does today. If someone challenges you just run and ignore them. That attitude is a spoiled one.
Someone challenged me on the pro day results back in the spring that my friend sent and when I was proved correct people just ran and stopped talking about it outside of a couple folks.
If any voter does not take their vote seriously enough that they actually slot teams to be funny like that then their vote should be taken away. lol. Seriously though, I doubt voters do that regarding something from that long ago.
Dude, none of us are "concerned" about being ranked. How is this so hard to understand?
Being ranked for any period of time is worth literally millions of dollars of free advertising for the university. It's worth more to our program in terms of money and prestige than winning the Sun Belt conference.
We, as App fans, are just having fun discussing the possibility of that happening. None of us have any ability to influence the outcome of tonight's game with our posts, and none of us will feel like we have wasted any time if we lose tonight.
Even if we get ranked, we are guaranteed at some point in the future to lose a game and drop out. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't hope to get ranked. This is akin to saying that we should decline the Cotton Bowl invite because we think we'd lose to Texas or Florida or whoever.
