We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Quite possible that you won’t hear anything until the hire is made. CSC plays his hand close to the vest.

Not Tom Knotts. No! No! No! He will go nowhere that he is not the most important man in the program.

If Norv is not interested maybe we should talk to Larry Fedora or Tom Herman. I believe both have recently started looking for new jobs.

I heard that someone tweeted that the guy that sits behind him at games at Kidd-Brewer is an unemployed coach/genius. Maybe that guy.

There are a few of those near my seats, too. Not sure if we can afford them though.

Co-OG-OCs.... Moore-Gibbs. First G5 to win the Championship.
I take you slept thru military history class. Especially when they covered when Hanibal crossed the Alps and whipped the Romans at the battle of Canae. Those Romans had co-generals. And the rest is history. No Romans survived.

As I've said before, if it's not the next man up in the program; then Buffalo OC ANDY KOTELNICKI or ANDREW SOWDER from Kent State. Both have experience in our climate and expand recruiting footprint. We could sell these as a step up to next offer. Sowder especially could help the QB coaching next year. We could afford both compared to current $

The entire Roman army that was slaughtered at Canae due to their co-generals incompetence most certainly did not win in the end.
The lesson here is that a group needs one person in charge, not two. So no co OC for us.

I'm actually kind of disappointed no one has suggested Steve Logan yet.
The best job Steve Logan has ever had is when he shows up on RDU sports radio as a guest host in between various and sundry coaching stops. Actually pretty entertaining, but that's as far as it goes in my opinion.

True, but it also set the stage for the ascension of Scipio Africanus. So if we had a dual OC that flopped in the fashion of Paullus and Varro(probably equates to zero win season), but yet led to us landing our very own Scipio Africanus(and his scorched earth policy) would it be so bad?

Yeah, I wasn't going that far, rather merely stating that the Romans may have lost the battle but won the war

Ok so if i understand your position, you think it is a good idea to hire two OCs so that we can lose some games and then we will win the war in some elephantine fashion by firing everyone and bringing in some new faces. Did i state your position correctly?
Thats nuts.
My only serious point is that two leaders do not work. For anything. The battle of Canar (notice i did not say a war against the Romans) is a perfect example.

That is certainly not my position, re football hiring. Chill out. I was simply making lame attempt at a sarcastic comment in the "hey, I get that reference" vein. Your point on football staff is spot on.
