We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Never let a game, especially a college game come down to the kicker. Perhaps you keep killing a team with what has worked all day. We bring in extra tight ends and telegraph up the guy runs. While Chase is slow he had several QB options back to the right that had nothing but green grass.

At least hats off to the Stink. Was a very chippy game but they didn't play like a bunch of thugs like in years past. Kind of missing the triple option right about now though.
That Stink roster was awful. Give Clay Helton some time. Southern will be good next year and probably 11-1 in 2024. We’ve switched places. We are where Southern was when they hired Tyson Summers. So it goes.

Had another play and settled for the field goal try….we need a coach
I mean, 29 yards on the left hash is pretty solid.
Definitely reasonable to think a fumble was more likely than missing a chip shot
If you’re that scared you might never win another game….that was scared football….good coaches use opportunity….they don’t shrink from it….great example was GS calling the fake field goal
I, and others on this board, were critiquing Clark’s chicken shit football in 2020. It hasn’t changed. That’s why he gets pantsed by Napier, Chadwell, and now Helton. Those dudes don’t play scared. Scared money don’t make money (though Clark is gonna get a million dollars when he is fired at the end of next season, so…)

Well, when SC was hired my words were “the last time we hired a coach based on who the players wanted we got Capel”. I was open minded and mildly optimistic and will continue to be if he’s our guy for now, but it’s a struggle.
Yep, the words, “players coach” scare me.
That phrase never made sense. Do players want a coach who takes it easy on them, doesn't yank guys who commit stupid penalties, does dumb running back rotations to keep everyone happy, stubbornly runs plays into the teeth of a defense? Yep probably. How about hiring a coach who won't stand on the sideline with a lost look on his face and will get fired up aside from the beginning of the 4th quarter?

Twice, in both halves, we needed to get a yard, and couldn't do it.
Doesn't matter what the heck is called, you go get a freaking yard. If you can't get 1 single yard when you need to, no one deserves to win. Don't care who the coaches are.

Winners get a freaking yard.
We had so many chances to win this game and in the end, we failed to execute when we really needed to. An inability to get short yardage on 4 key plays, two turnovers got us 3 points, and a missed FG. Let's not even talk about the defense.

Thank you seniors. Hate that it ends like this for them. Like having the plug pulled on your football career.

Congrats to the many of you on this board that enjoy seeing us lose more than enjoying the wins. You know who you are.

Undefeated next season. Go App.
Nobody enjoys seeing us lose, but I can't blame the ones who called a spade a spade early on and took heat for it. Obviously they are going to clap back. I said our WRs were lacking early on and got lambasted.

Long way from Drink and Satt era. 2018-2019 seasons were the pinnacle. Time to start building from the bottom. Clean house.

If I hear one word from Clark that we played hard, give credit to Southern and the Sun Belt is much improved I am going to puke.
Better go get your bucket ready then.
Unless Gillen fires them all in the locker room and makes them walk home.
The cubbards will be bare next year. I am expecting a mass exodus to the transfer portal.
Is Mike Working still coaching?
This is my fear as well. Clark lost the locker room last season, facts. I don't even care to keep it behind the Lodge gates. Like Shawn a lot as a man, but if you can't uphold the greatness of App State football, you've got to go.

Virtually all of our WRs are freshman and sophomores. Nearly every 2022 preview I read about us had WRs as an area we would be “weaker” in. Just means we will be absolutely stacked there next season.

How can a players coach lose the locker room in 1 season?

You can say it's all on the coaches but that is just not honest. I keep hearing about this "wealth of talent". Really? We have a coaching problem AND a talent problem and that is just a fact plain and simple. I hope that will improve next year but I have my doubts. Time for hockey.

Exactly. These takes are for the most part by people who can’t understand talent or depth. We had not much on the defensive side of the ball this year. But let’s not that get in the way of irrational tirades of

That’s cool but I haven’t read you taking victory laps literally every time App struggled this year
