You can do it a lot less on Frontier or Spirit out of Charlotte. Currently from Charlotte, non stop roundtrip, Friday to Sunday, $63 dollars on Frontier.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 11:13 amFlight to Orlando is fairly cheap (30k miles or $400). If Cure Bowl and MAC champion is Toledo...it will be the start of a 3 game series. Some bad blood for one side could be started at the Bowl game.

I flew Frontier in June for the first time ever : Las Vegas to PHX (25 minute flight). Saw 2 fights, too many open toed shoes and people stood up and clapped when we landed. I'd pay the extra $300. JKJK, it wasn't all that bad.t4pizza wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 1:08 pmYou can do it a lot less on Frontier or Spirit out of Charlotte. I recently flew Frontier when out west. Other than the seat not being the most comfortable, it was fine. Glad it was not a west to east coast trip. I try to stay away from Spirit....was the worst experience..311neers wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 2:43 pmI flew Frontier in June for the first time ever : Las Vegas to PHX (25 minute flight). With that said, the cheapest flights via Expedia from BWI was Frontier to ATL and Spirit back. So the wife is going to be excited about a spirit flight on Sunday return flight

Also, Allegiant out of Concord is like $200, which is a very good deal.

That honestly sounds like the best flight ever. I'd pay a premium for that!311neers wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 2:43 pmI flew Frontier in June for the first time ever : Las Vegas to PHX (25 minute flight). Brett McMurphy has us in Cure Bowl vs. Liberty this morning.
I hope he's right about the bowl, but wrong about the team. I'd almost take any other bowl just to not play Liberty.

Re: Congrats - Bowl Eligible
We could beat 2 top 25 teams in one season, have a 10 win season, and win a conference championship. Sounds like one of the best years in program history.
I think Liberty is our only shot at a top 25 team in a bowl game.

"Give me death, anything but Liberty". Sham institution.
Would rather have Boise State there, UCF in the Gasparilla, WVU in Birmingham, Iowa State in Memphis, etc.
But of course App would get stuck with Liberty. That's been par for the course in bowls thus far. Beating a Top 25 Liberty does nothing for App. It won't get you ranked. It'll be a blip on sports news. And it'll be another game against a C-USA school.
Time for something else other than the MAC and C-USA.

You sound quite certain that App would beat LU. Not sure if you noticed, but Chadwell’s frequently had our number in the recent past.ericsaid wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 11:53 amWho cares? Re: Congrats - Bowl Eligible
A 10-4 conference champion team from the nation’s strongest G5 conference with a 2-1 record against ranked teams and riding a seven-game winning streak should absolutely get top-25 consideration. Just sayin’…
