Swann had his leg in an air cast.
Swann shouldn’t have been in the game. He had an obvious injury, the O line had pretty much stop blocking at all and JMU knew both things. Swann’s injury is 100% on our coaching staff. Complete bull shit!!!

Problem is, if you Fire him after 1 year, you lose a chunk of money and what head coach in his right mind will break down the door to coach at a university that gives that short of a leash as to fire someone after 1 year?
A ton of them, especially a FCS coach who wants a chance at the bigger stage. As bad as we are, we still have a brand and are a known program.
Let me rephrase that then. Plenty of Head Coaches will have interest, but would this crew be happy with any of the names that pop up for the job and will they be willing to give them leash to perform before starting the "fire em' " all talk all over again. My point is, give this current crew one more year and then make the change. This year is a bit soon in my opinion.

I’m not a fan of firing coaches in their first season, but we are getting worse every week.

I do have one caveat: If Loggains goes then Gillin must go too. He bears as much responsibility for this as Loggains of not more.
We can’t afford it unless Ricks grows a pair
He just wants people to have fun
People will have fun. At home, saving like $1000 a weekend six times a year.

Kohl - 6/8, 81 yards, TD
Swann - 8/28, 64 yards, INT

Is dowell stupid?
They’re two sides of the same coin. JMU prepared for Swann. Kohl played the seconds and thirds.
Nah. Kohl is just better. But Swann is DL’s guy.
Kohl is more healthy.

I don't know that anyone was happy with DLo. He was an unknown that came out of nowhere. The fanbase doesn't need to be happy. But a proven winner, bringing in some of his players might have resulted in a different season this year.

I really hope the weather is perfect the next two weekends so fans are willing to drive up the mountain and attend.

1 YARD RUSHING FOR THE ENTIRE GAME!

Time for something different. Like changes before sunrise in the morning.

This isn't a football program anymore.

I was in your same position until this game. The product on the field was that bad that i am not willing to give him anymore time at our school. Find a winning coach at FCS with a proven track record and people will be satisfied. These first time head coach hires have worn thin, sure we got lucky with Drink (Satt was a known quantity so I don't see that as luck) but the last two just haven't had it.

There is zero reason with the portal that we should be in that situation. We should never lose to a peer school by 50 points. I don't know how anybody could watch that game and say we need to give him another year.

He:
1) Kept an obviously injured QB in the game who was completing 5% of his passes and had 29 yards of offense to the point in the game where he got permanently injured.
2) Had his kid on the sideline showing ipad fun in the 3rd quarter down 38
3) Laughing it up after a complete blowout loss.

That is not the guy I want leading our program.

I agree with this, but Gillin cannot have any input in the process.

Kerwin Bell at WCU would be a good one too, and have him bring his QB. Anyone who can win at WCU is a good coach, and he as a track record of winning everywhere he has been.

Statistically this is worse and at the hands is a conference foe
