Until the 4 FCSers starting whoopin some CUSA and BE behind.
Let's not get a head of ourselves. :D

From our perspective, it would be great to be joining with those other three. I didn't mean to imply it was bad. Just saying that outsiders will perceive it that way and there will likely be some grumbling within some SBC fanbases. It doesn't bother me, but there will likely be some blowback.
When folks jump on here and say we are "JV" does anyone think that will help that perception?

With all the equipment, etc. that they have, a flight for football would make sense.

I thought even if the football team flies the equipment truck is driven to the game. Does anyone know for sure?

So you've posted your article on the SB board.

Do you still wonder why I have no idea what youre talking about?

We passed the equipment truck on the way down to LSU so I am going to say yes to that.

Yeah, Im seeing that now. Apparently flight is one area where it pays to outsource.

Next objective:

Acquire stimulus funding to build Maglev train from Boone to Atlanta and beyond.

I think we've got a real shot at this one gentlemen...
I'm for it, so long as it can have a Tweetsie whistle.

I have been to all 3 away games at Samford and the App equipment truck has always been there.

Equipment truck goes to most games but I'm not sure about Montana.

Just saw this on the Twitters... more fuel to the fire. It has already been said what we're telling recruits, but this is just another example.

While our administration has and remains very quiet on the subject matter, the only information we can gather is from what recruits/propspective players say through their twitter accounts. SMH

If anyone is taking that seriously, then I don't know what to tell you.

I dont think that Twitter "movin' up" is the same moving up as "App moving up to the SB. " I believe, its like, "Im movin' up in the world..."

But thats just how I read it.

asumike83 wrote:Take this for what it is (a rumor) but I just pulled this off the Sun Belt board. This is from an Arkansas State fan who is a frequent poster over there. A WKU fan posted later in the thread that he's heard the same thing. So many "for sure" rumors have been floated around the past few years that I'll believe it when I see a press conference but here it is:

WKU will be joining CUSA for the 2014 season. The Belt will be discussing the addition of App st and GSU along with the third addition being NMSU. This will put the conference back to 10/12 format.

West

ASU
UALR
ULM
Texas St
NMSU
UTA

East

TROY
USA
ULL
Georgia st
Georgia southern
App st

The divisions would be for basketball and presumably Olympic sports as well. Football would not be split into divisions but would be 9 conference games and 3 OOC.

Just speculation but fun nonetheless. Personally, I would not mind that set-up with two teams in the division that are bus trips or possibly three with Troy, who is the same distance from Boone as Samford.

Thoughts?

Love it. That would give me 3 road games within easy driving distance... Maybe 4. And to make up for losing the annual entertainment of whoopin' Western's butts, we'll have GA State, right here in my back yard. Let's do this!

Agreed. I think 'moving up' here simply means moving up from high school to college ball.

-_- Yeah, you definitely misinterpreted that. He's a high school player with aspirations to play D1 college football. I like your optimism though.

Maybe you guys are right... just trying to seek out information. I wish this whole thing were resolved sooner rather than later, but I guess we'll see. When/If the move actually happens, I'm wondering if we'll have anything left to talk about! ;)
