No clue. just noted the picture on another social media site. I typically do not follow preseason football.

I watched a little bit of the game mainly 3rd Q - I saw Demetrius, Lamm, and Gossett - didn't see Neuzil but he could have been out there - It was hard to read Atlanta's names on their jerseys ---

Virgil may be playing himself into at least into a practice squad role with Broncos and potentially a spot on the roster. The next couple of weeks will be key. Would like to see him getting throws from QB1 for Broncos.

It would be interesting to see how many undrafted free agents make rosters every year across the league. With the added game did they increase roster sizes? You see guys every year look phenomenal in camp and seemingly great in the preseason but still get cut. I'm guessing that for the playoff caliber teams it usually comes down to adding maybe 5 or so guys to an active roster each year. Practice squad at the very least isn't horrible considering how many guys get injured so the chances of being added to a game day roster is very good. Another nice showing next week for Virgil could do it.

From what I saw of the Bears and Evans he might have a hard time making their roster as right now he is RB4 and the guys in front of him looked good - he looked solid as well but it's hard to jump several guys unless injuries happen - Possibly he will get on others radar

All of his 3 catches were from QB3. I wanna see him move up to 2nd team before I get too excited. But he was clearly far too athletic for the Cowboys 3s.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 8:37 amVirgil may be playing himself into at least into a practice squad role with Broncos and potentially a spot on the roster. Every catch I’ve seen Virgil make has showed excellent separation, body control, timing, concentration and hands. He can take a hit and is clearly a deep threat. He’s made the QB look good on a couple he went after.

Hennigan is in street clothes for the Vikings vs Raiders. Didn't know he was hurt but obviously is.

That's the reason I even had it on. Then I saw Henni go over and give 85 a tap on the head after a nice 3rd down catch to move the chains. And Henni did not have a jersey or pads on.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 5:20 pmWell so much for keeping up with that gameAppStateNews wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 5:16 pmHennigan is in street clothes for the Vikings vs Raiders. Re: Any word on how our 2022 FA's are doing?
When quarterback Brett Rypien came in for the second half, a fourth young wide receiver got his moments in the spotlight. Rookie Jalen Virgil turned heads during training camp with a few long receptions, and he further cemented his potential to be a deep threat in Saturday's game.
Starting a third-quarter drive inside the 1-yard line, Rypien unleashed a 42-yard bomb downfield to Virgil, who secured the catch and held on while taking a powerful hit. With just three receptions, Virgil racked up 83 yards and quickly became the team's leader in receiving yards on the night.
As a player battling for a spot on the 53-man roster, Virgil understands how crucial it is to make the most of each snap he gets.
"It's very important," Virgil said. "I've always been big on just taking advantage of every opportunity that I'm given. We have a lot of talent in the receiver room, so for me it's just going out there every time and just trying to make a play every time I get a chance."
