IMO CEOs (and Gillian is ceo of the AD) have a shelf life (like restaurants). Things get stale and new blood and new opportunities are best for everyone.

ADDG has done a good job for a long time, but there’s no mistaking we’ve taken a big step back in football and we’re treading water in men’s basketball. That’s about 90% plus of our revenue thats generated organically.

NOTHING.

Gillin hasn’t done a great job; he’s ridden App’s reputation and done little to leverage the momentum and get more alums/fans involved. Let’s be honest: he’s always been both lazy and unimaginative. Example: why bother trying some creative fundraising ideas that may win new donors when he can just raise the price of tickets and parking passes?

To T-Dog’s point, he could care less about the fans; his grand solution is to generate more debt for stadium upgrades that may not matter in the near future. Should App spend that much money on a football project when your program is spiraling and fan support is beginning to wane? Hope isn’t a strategy, Douglas. But I doubt you’re able to recognize that.

Silver lining: If Norris ever fires him (fingers crossed), DG has all of the requisite qualities for a bright future in politics.

- Had we not had all the injuries on the OL and RB we would have won at least 1 of thoses.
- Injuries are not Loggians fault.
- The offsides at taking away the TD yesterday isn't Loggains fault

Regarding the stolen TD: I paused that play and there was no illegal formation. We had 4 in the backfield, 6 on the OL, and the WR at the bottom of my TV screen was on the LOS. We got royally screwed on that and never got kissed.

Just because I was curious, I looked at it again. I do think it was the right call, as much as I hate it



It's a terrible camera angle, but #1 under the score widget is lined up almost exactly even with #87, especially when you consider that the DB over there is on the LOS, you can see how much space there is between them, leaving only 6 lined up on the LOS. If #1 would have moved up 1.5 yards, it would have stood as a legal play.
